Paul Pogba wondergoal moves Man Utd back top of the Premier League after winning/Fulham 1-2 Manchester United

Manchester United returned to the top of the Premier League table with a tense but deserved 2-1 win away to Fulham.

Manchester United are back on top of the Premier League after coming from behind to beat Fulham at Craven Cottage.

United have made a habit of conceding first but going on to win on their travels this season, and it happened again as goals from Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba secured all three points after Ademola Lookman's early opener.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made three changes from the team that drew 0-0 with Liverpool at Anfield, with Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford dropping out, and Eric Bailly, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani coming in.

Lookman capitalised on some sloppy United defending as he broke the Reds' offside trap before rifling past David de Gea.

Fulham's lead didn't last, though, as Cavani bundled home from close range before Pogba struck a second-half stunner from outside the box to wrap up the win.

Paul Pogba admitted he didn’t expect to score such a ‘beautiful’ goal with his weaker foot after his winner against Fulham on Wednesday night.
